Cages:
*Cubes and Coroplast (C&C) Cages
Inexpensive and easily customizable to provide optimum space for you pigs. You can purchase C&C cage kits online or supplies individually to build your own from scratch. This way, you can create your pigs' cage to fit your home just right.
*Store-Bought Cages
Most store-bought commercial cages do not provide near enough space to house skinny/guinea pigs. Though, there are a few currently on the market which have suitable space for (no more than) 2 pigs. "Midwest Guinea Pig Habitat", specifically the "Habit Plus" option, is an ideal size for max 2 adult pigs. If you plan to house more than 2 pigs together, go with a larger C&C cage.
Bedding:
*Fleece
*Wood
Kiln-dried pine or aspen.
*Paper

*Electrical Cords/Toxic Plants Near Cages

These were not designed for guinea pigs, despite what their store packaging/advertising might suggest.

Direct sunlight is dangerous for skinny pigs and will result in sunburns. Pigs are susceptible to heat stroke, yes, even skinny pigs get overheated.
*Areas with Sudden Temperature Change
Pigs are sensitive to temperature, therefore drafts can lead to illness, especially in skinnies.
